CARMARLO'S REVIEW : 10 THINGS I HATE ABOUT TRANSFORMERS REVENGE OF THE FALLEN

*WARNING! U'VE BEEN WARNED. THIS REVIEW CONTAIN SPOILERS. DO NOT READ IF U DO NOT WANT TO GET SPOILED*

OK. Lets make this straight. As a Transformers fan since childhood and a follower to all its Transformers Universe storyline...this new Transformers film...pictured to be a total contender for the best summer blockbuster title...is a piece of crap..YES I REPEAT..A PIECE OF CRAP. WHY say U? Then read this piece of junk .I rarely put my very own piece of review but this kind of dissapointment after seeing it on Day 1 release really push my envelope to write this piece into.

First of all, let get into the storyline detail. Yes I have to admit..i have an all high expectation for this movie. After seeing the first one with such anticipation 2 years ago..this sequal storytelling really dissapoint me..A LOT. What makes it hit me hard and painfully was how Michael Bay has change the entire Transformers storyline..albeit the first one and making it as it was his own entirely new masterpiece of Bay's Transformers Universe. What the hell man. That was not us fan wanting for. He really made the storyline..really...UPSIDE

DOWN...REALLY. And to adds things up, u can see some dodgy UNSUCCESFUL PAST MOVIE content 'copy & paste' into this sequal. For example, he makeus know that alien-ancient Transformers once rule the earth (Alien vs Predator) & a scene where this Sam scandelous college girl was actually a human-disguise Decepticon (Terminator 3), and some bloody related title to Star Wars (Revenge of the Sith). Is this some kind of ur own movie piracy En. Michael Bay. We are not that stupid to be promt with. Going deeper into the movie..u noticed that u will definetely get bored at times with all those human scene..and so at times..it was so tedious that u wish u can have a remote control and could fast forward the sequence into the fast-paced robotic action scene. YES ITS TRUE..AND I REALLY MEAN IT. JUST FAST FORWARD TO THE ROBOT ACTION MR BAY!

Secondly, is about the script. It was so LAME that i could make me break into silence (bored) and feel like yuck! (wat is dis piece of lame line anyway)..it doesn't have any feel and soul in it. I get dissapointed because i do not expect the awesomeness of the Screenwriters Roberto Orci and Alex Kurtzman to make like this very kind of lame script anyway. For all of u who didn't know, Roberto Orci & Alex Kurtzman was the one who are responsible for the script and screenwriter of both Transformers1 and the new Star Trek film. In this film,they tried to introduce comedy with big-bang action..but the comedy was so lame and dragging it miserably..u feel like going to slap the actor in the face and yell...TO THE ACTION PLEASE. ANd there is no noticeble line that really reach our soul in an instant, if that what i can remember or so.

Thirdly, if u pay a total amount of concentration & attention to details, u can notice some awkward moments and places that been reuse again in the sequal that remind u of the first film. Well, i am totally a myopic (rabun jauh), but in this film i do not forget to bring my spectacle and that is why i found this out by myself. If u watch the 1st film, pay close attention to the place where the u.s soldiers fight the Scorpinok. Yes, that place is going to be re-use again during the final part of the film. What the hell, is there no other location EN.BAY? Then the awkward moments. After the Devastator had finally combined. with a big green robot (Longhoul)combine as its right leg...u could see him again as individual in other same intervals..trying to locate and search for Sam & Mikaela. Wut the hell AGAIN! HE HAS ALREADY COMBINED! The same scenario goes on when 13 Decepticons crash landed on that final scene and u can see one of them is Bonecrusher. HEy..wasn't he dead been slayed by Optimus in the 1st movie? SYietty Hell! MR.BAY...at least try to decribe and explain to us why he is still alive in this very sequel in the first place. And then again..the re-entry mode depicted in this film was totally a cut, paste and add-on solution job. That was the scene taken from the very 1st film. AGAIN! Ouh and one more thing to point out..there is no explanation whatsoever about how Sam injured his hand which was then suddenly wrapped in bandages. For you who didn't know, Sam (Shia Lebouf) hand was actually injured & broken in real life when he was doing one of the stunt in the film. In the film one moment he was OK..then seconds later he got bandages on his hand. WTF IS GOIN ON?

Forth, the Matrix of Leadership. What the hell man? Why is the Matrix is not in Optimus chest in the very first place. I THOUGH IT WAS SuPPOSED TO BE INSIDE OF HIM ORIGINALLY. ARGH! That thing is what makes Optimus the leader of Autobots in the first place. Why make a human responsible for putting it inside his chest. For those who don't know might not even bothered by it but to me..it doesn't even make sense at all. DUH! AGAIN...ITS WAS LIKE FEELING SO STUPID TO BE A TRANSFORMERS FAN AFTER ALL THIS YEARS KNOWING ALONG ABOUT THE MATRIX OF LEADERSHIP

Fifth, about Soundwave and that AUDI R8 (Sideways). I am truely satisfied with Soundwave...but where is his TRADEMARK ROBOTIC VOICE? GODDAMIT BAY! About the Audi R8..cool but killed that easily. WUTEVA....

Sixth, Megatron been revived, but he should be rename as GAlvatron just like the 1986 animated movie. HUH~ CRAP

Seventh, the Fallen. Even though the title is Revenge of the Fallen, i could not get what is his REVENGE after all. SHITTY SYEIT. And then potrayed him as the leader of Decepticon in such a sudden above Megatron. What? I though he was only mentioned once in a comic among the 13 ancient Transformers and was not even on either side. Autobots & Decepticons are actually join forces together to get rid of him in the comic storyline. Another Bay's SHITTY SHEIT...AGAIN.

Eight, about Devastator. U know..Devastator was the most feared Decepticons if combined and in this movie..it was a hopeless 'giant vacuum cleaner' in a desert that easily been shot down by human secret weapon. C'MON! NO LOGIC WHATSOEVER IN THAT and LAME STUPID>>WHY NOT USE THAT WEAPON IN THE VERY FIRST PLACE<<

Ninth, about human vs Decepticons scenario. What the hell is the human so powerfull in this film fighting Decepticons easily using a standard machine gun n a couple help from tank and help from "Bring on the Rain" stuff...as long as i can remember..Decepticons easily destroyed a military base with just sending one man army-Blackout (like the starting of the very 1st movie). And how the hell there are so many tanks made available in the middle of the desert. WOW..LOOK HOW FAST THEY MOVE STUFF..HUH~ And then the bombardment made by U.S airstrikes..wasn't Megatron n Starscream actually patrolling & controlling the airspace at that time. The big...slow airstrikes aircraft could easily be destroyed by them like a piece of cake. BUT THEN...SORI GUYS>>ITS NOT HAPENNING.FULLSTOP. My point is Soundwave already hacked into the U.S military satelite and that could play some upper hand advantages to the Decepticons in knowing their enemy military tacticals analysis and deployments. ONLY KIDS WHO WATCHED THIS MOVIE CAN BE FOOLED FOR NOT FIGURING THIS OUT. SIGH~

Tenth, is about the Allspark shard. If u could remember, there are only one piece of the allspark shard that remain in Megatron's chest after he died. But in this film...there are 2 pieces of it. One remain in secretly and remotely, guarded hideout (yeah right).. and the other one in Sam's jacket. WUT? Where did he get the other one? This unexplained mystery really made me wondering through and on the entire length of the film.

Then lastly, i would like to compliment its CGI. Totally awesome to-date, hands down. Megan Fox was the other highlight of the film too (gahahaha). And talked about setpieces..i could vividly remember 4 set pieces in the film that was enormous and huge that brings an impact to the action of this film. It was the first Shanghai scene (i notice a Malaysia Airlines billboard in the first couple minutes), the forest-big fight scene (BEST SCENE IN THIS FILM), the Devestator combining scene, and the final scene. But that just all in the movie. ALL of the others, was a TOTAL DISSAPOINTMENT. AN EPIC FAILURE BLOCKBUSTER.

P/s: Some of u who actually LIKE & ENJOYING the movie very much & are NOT that NIT-PICKING might think my review are BIASED. Yes make no mistake, i do admit it as a Masterpiece in action category but if u know the REAL FACTS about Transformers n pay close attention to details in the story..u might end up feeling dissapointed in the end like i did. Its just my personal view as a BIG FAN anyway. Think again.
